Bu \u00e7ekirdek, i\u015flemcinin i\u00e7inde bulunan yongaya verilen isimdir. Uzun bir zaman boyunca i\u015flemcilerde yaln\u0131zca bir \u00e7ekirdek vard\u0131. Yani bir i\u015flemci ne kadar fazla \u00e7ekirde\u011fe sahipse o kadar h\u0131zl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma kapasitesine sahip olur.<\/p>\n<p>Her \u00e7ekirdek farkl\u0131 g\u00f6revleri yerine getirebilece\u011fi gibi, birden fazla \u00e7ekirdek ayn\u0131 g\u00f6revi yerine getirmek i\u00e7in paralel bir \u015fekilde de kullan\u0131labilir. Hatta her \u00e7ekirdek kendi i\u00e7inde farkl\u0131 par\u00e7alara ayr\u0131larak i\u015flemleri daha h\u0131zl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirebilir. Yani i\u015flemcide ger\u00e7ek bir par\u00e7a olarak yer alan \u00e7ekirdek kullan\u0131larak sanal ortamda kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 \u00fczere yarat\u0131lan bir \u00e7ekirdektir.<\/p>\n<p>Multithread ise her bir fiziksel \u00e7ekirde\u011fi ikiye b\u00f6lerek, \u00e7ekirdek ba\u015f\u0131na iki\u015fer tane \u201cThread\u201d \u00fcretme i\u015flemine verilen isimdir. Intel bu i\u015flem i\u00e7in \u201c<strong>hyper-threading<\/strong>\u201d ismini kullan\u0131rken, AMD \u201c<strong>simultaneous multithreading\u00a0<\/strong>(SMT)\u201d ismini kullan\u0131r. Asl\u0131nda iki i\u015flem de ayn\u0131 ama\u00e7 i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131r. Tamam\u0131yla ayn\u0131 \u015feyi ifade ederler.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d6rnek vererek daha iyi a\u00e7\u0131klayal\u0131m. AMD marka\u00a0<strong>4 \u00e7ekirdekli<\/strong>\u00a0bir i\u015flemci, \u201csimultaneous multithreading\u201d yaparak\u00a0<strong>8 tane<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cThread\u201d olu\u015fturur. Intel marka 4 \u00e7ekirdekli bir i\u015flemci ise \u201chyper-threading\u201d yaparak 8 tane \u201cThread\u201d olu\u015fturur. Tabii ki \u00e7ekirdek ve \u201cThread\u201d aras\u0131nda g\u00fc\u00e7 farklar\u0131 vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Fiziksel bir \u00e7ekirdek, kendisinden meydana getirilmi\u015f \u201cThread\u201dlerden daha h\u0131zl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r.
